Business Insurance Benefits

Get the right coverage for your business so that you can do what you do best, worry-free!

Business Owners Policy

A special type of commercial insurance designed for small and medium-sized businesses. By bundling general liability insurance and business property insurance in to a single policy, BOPs typically offer a reduced premium, often making them a more cost-effective option than separately purchased policies.

General Liability Insurance

General liability insurance policies typically cover you and your company for claims involving bodily injuries and property damage resulting from your products, services or operations. It may also cover you if you are held liable for damages to your landlord’s property.

Business Personal Property

Traditionally known as contents, this includes furniture, fixtures, equipment, machinery, merchandise, materials and any other personal property owned by the insured and used in the insured’s business.

Workers Compensation

Workers’ Compensation is a form of insurance providing wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment in exchange for mandatory relinquishment of the employee’s right to sue his or her employer for the tort of negligence.

Law requires all employers with at least one employee to have California Workers Compensation Benefits insurance. This includes all temporary employees and corporate officers of the company. The law extends to out-of-state employers as well, who may have employees that regularly work in California.

Employment Practices Liability

Employment Practices Liability is an area of U.S. law that deals with wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, invasion of privacy, false imprisonment, breach of contract, emotional distress, and wage and hour law violations. Employment Practices Liability is part of professional liability.

Professional Liability

Also called professional indemnity insurance, but more commonly known as errors & omissions, is a form of liability insurance which helps protect profession advice- and service-providing individuals and companies from bearing the full cost of defending against a negligence claim made by a client, and damages awarded in such a civil lawsuit. The coverage focuses on alleged failure to perform on the part of, financial loss caused by, and error or omission in the service or product sold by the policyholder. These are causes for legal action that would not be covered by a more general liability insurance policy which addresses more direct forms of harm.
